Replacing the EQ with a different one (Eiosis which is not linear phase) the problem disappeared. On this occasion I suddenly had a big delay when I instantiated Ozone 7 EQ (in linear phase mode) on a parallel AUX. On occasion though I've had big delays which I've not found it easy to replicate. Yes I often use parallel processing and don't normally get any noticeable phase cancellation or obvious delays. If it does, then likely there is something else going on in your project you'll need to troubleshoot. Note - most plugins don't let you turn on or off latency compensation in the plugin, so Ozone is a good test of this.įor the OP - try a new, blank project, and set up the same test as I did above, with whatever plugin/version/setting you were using (and tell us what that is, so we can test the exact same config) and see whether it behaves Ok.

So make sure you have this turned on in Ozone. With this setting turned off, Ozone doesn't report latency to the host, therefore it's not compensated. *Edit: In fact, I then turned *off* latency compensation in Ozone's settings, and then you hear the uncompensated 51ms delay easily. So the source tracks have been delayed 2248 samples to line up with the delayed audio on the aux. Playing them together - rock solid in time, no phase cancellations etc. I usd a Send to Bus 1, and put on an Ozone 7 plugin on the aux on that bus, with some EQ processing (Ozone reported 2248 samples of latency, or 51ms - should be easily hearable if there was no latency compensation). I just put some audio on a channel (non-distorted electric guitar part with fast attack to more easily hear any timing problems). Rather than asking questions, this is pretty easy to replicate to check the behaviour.
